Newborns spend so much of their early days sleeping, stretching and snuggling, so I love capturing those tiny details too — their little hands, curled-up toes, sleepy expressions and those gorgeous newborn features.

If you love a little sparkle, a gold star headband with a matching star wand creates a beautiful festive photograph.

There’s something about a newborn in a miniature red Santa hat that just makes you smile. It’s a simple little prop, but on such a tiny baby it becomes a gorgeous Christmas keepsake.

I’ll always make sure we capture plenty of natural newborn photographs too, those sleepy cuddles, tiny fingers and toes, little stretches and beautiful family moments. The Christmas details simply add a little extra festive magic.
